The Grant Arms Hotel operates its own bird club with a dedicated library and daily wildlife briefings posted at breakfast. Free guided nature walks depart from the hotel, led by knowledgeable local guides. Evening talks by renowned wildlife experts, such as Richard from the BWWC and Jack Waldie, are held regularly in the function room.
